The Saratoga County Veterans Service Agency assists Veterans and their families with securing earned benefits and services through quality customer service and advocacy. Saratoga County is home approximately 18,000 Veterans and their families. The Agency is staffed by Accredited Service Officers and primarily assists Veterans and their families in connecting to benefits and services earned through military service. The Agency also provides a transportation service for Veterans to medical appointments at the Stratton VAMC in Albany, and coordinates the monthly Honor Deceased Veterans ceremony.

In 2013, the Saratoga County Veterans Service Agency was one of four counties selected to participate in the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support Program for Veterans. The Saratoga Veterans Peer to Peer Program provides an opportunity for local Veterans who have reintegrated to civilian life to assist fellow Veterans who many experience post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or other re-acclimation challenges.

Our senior site of Kingsbury/Hudson Falls and Fort Edward, would like to continue to offer high quality events, classes, and services for older adults in Washington County.
Through our co-operative marketing and advertising plan with Washington County CARES the Office for the Aging we have seen modest increases in attendance and the number of lunches being served daily.
Our marketing plan highlights all four congregate meal sites in Washington County.
We have experienced social interaction with other area senior centers ex. Greater Glens Falls Senior Center.
At the Center, seniors are making connections with their community, and building lasting relationships. They can meet for socialization, information as well as obtaining a nutritionally balanced meal. This is what the Senior Center of the Kingsbury & Fort Edward Area, Inc. offers.
Another key goal, is to find creative and effective ways in which to secure additional grant funding for our center, through researching past and current resources and options
Our center keeps seniors healthy and safe, and it is where personal contacts are made.
