Women, Infants and Children

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offers nutrition education, breastfeeding support, referrals and a variety of nutritious foods to low-income pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum women, infants and children up to age five to promote and support good health. WIC provides the health of pregnant women, new mothers and their infants and children. The foods provided through WIC are a good source of nutrients often missing from the diets of women and young children. WIC participants have longer, healthier pregnancies and fewer premature births.

Warren County Youth Bureau is committed to helping young people grow up healthy, caring and responsible. We believe that youth are valuable assets to our communities. We provide resources and information to youth serving agencies and programs. We prove Alive@25, Alternative Sentencing, Counseling for Teens without insurance, and Parenting for teen parents. We support the Warren County Youth Court a New York State Best Practice. We also have quarterly meetings with Town and City representatives and pass through some State funding for their recreational programs.
